According to the marketing agency NAPI, 5.3 thousand new and used buses were sold in January-March 2026, which was a 21.7% decline on the previous year, when 6.8 thousand buses were sold. Of these, 1.9 thousand units were new (-4.3% on 2025), and 3.4 thousand units were used (-28.8%).
Over the year, sales of new buses 6-8 meters long (-46.0% to 0.3 thousand units), 10-12 meters (-18.0% to 0.3 thousand units), and 8-10 meters (-0.5% to 0.6 thousand units) decreased. However, sales of new buses over 12 meters long grew (+59.5% to 0.7 thousand units). Used bus sales fell across all segments: 8-10 meters (-37.1% to 0.7 thousand units), 6-8 meters (-36.2% to 1.2 thousand units), over 12 meters (-20.9% to 0.4 thousand units), and 10-12 meters (-13.3% to 1.1 thousand units).
Among new vehicles, the share of 8-10 m (+1.2 p.p.) and over 12 m (+13.9 p.p.) buses increased, while that of 6-8 m (-11.8 p.p.) and 10-12 m (-3.0 p.p.) buses fell. Buses over 12 meters (34.7%) and 8-10 meters (32.7%) long accounted for the largest share of new vehicle sales in January-March 2026.
In the used vehicle segment, the share of buses 10-12 meters (+5.6 p.p.) and over 12 meters (+1.3 p.p.) long increased, while that of buses 6-8 meters (-4.2 p.p.) and 8-10 meters (-2.7 p.p.) fell. Buses 6-8 meters (36.0%) long accounted for more than a third of used vehicle sales.
