Demand for new and used buses is growing at the same pace

According to the marketing agency NAPI, over 4 months of 2023, new bus sales increased by 21.1%, while used bus sales — by 21.6%.

It is interesting to note that two Chinese brands (HIGER and YUTONG) are among the leaders by sales of both new and used buses.

VEHICLE PRODUCTION IN RUSSIA
Car production has not recovered

According to the NAPI, 93.3 thousand cars (-62.2% on QI 2022), 14.6 thousand trucks (-16.3%), 21.4 thousand LCV (-15%), and 3.2 thousand buses (+18.6%) were produced in Q I 2023. In March, only the car production decreased (-10.1% on March 2022), while the production of trucks increased by 3.6%, LCV — by 7%, buses – by 53.3%.
