12.08.2025 / Plug-in hybrid car leasing fell by 11%

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 13.5 thousand new plug-in hybrid cars were sold in January-June 2025, which was a 34.6% decline on the similar period of 2024, when 20.7 thousand new hybrid cars were sold. At the same time, the share of corporate clients who purchased hybrid cars increased by 7.1% over the year (from 18.2% to 25.4%). 1.8 thousand new plug-in hybrid cars were leased* in January-June 2025, which was a 10.6% decline on 2024. The share of hybrid cars leased fell by 0.9% over the year, while in the first half of the current year it was 52%.
