According to the marketing agency NAPI, 87.3 thousand units of equipment were issued for financial leasing in January-July 2026, representing a 25.9% rise on the previous year. However, the 2024 year figures (121.4 thousand units) were not reached; the result for the first seven months of the current year was 42.9% lower.
The largest leasing growth was shown by segments of food industry equipment, including refrigeration and restaurant equipment (+357.3%), and medical and pharmaceutical equipment (+106.6%). Leasing of pumping (+78.1%), energy (+49.9%), and agricultural (+37.2%) equipment saw less significant growth. Moderate growth took place in segments of telecommunications equipment, office machinery, and computers (+6.8%), as well as oil and gas extraction and processing equipment (+6.8%). Two segments showed negative dynamics: industrial equipment (-55.1%) and metalworking equipment (-23.9%).
It should be noted that figures for January–July 2024 surpassed those shown by segments of telecommunications equipment, office machinery, and computers (+50.0%); food industry equipment, including refrigeration and restaurant equipment (+90.6%); agricultural equipment (+104.6%); and medical and pharmaceutical equipment (+159.5%).
