The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the financial capacity of the new truck* market in January-April 2026. Since the beginning of the year, trucks worth 166.5 billion rubles have been purchased, which was a 27.0% decline on the similar period of 2025.
The financial capacity of most truck types has decreased. The most significant decline was shown by vans (-45.3%), tractor units (-33.0%), and lifting vehicles (-29.4%), primarily due to lower sales. Municipal vehicles showed growth (+12.7%), with their sales increasing by almost 18%.
The tractor unit segment showed the best financial capacity, with the result reaching 43.5 billion rubles.
