According to the marketing agency NAPI, 27.7 thousand special purpose vehicles were leased in January-August 2026, representing a 29.2% rise on the similar period of 2025.
Leasing of warehouse vehicles saw significant growth compared to January–August of the previous year, rising by 364.2% (to 3.3 thousand units). Leasing of road construction vehicles (8.8 thousand units) and agricultural vehicles (8.9 vehicles units) grew by more than 20%. Meanwhile, leasing of lifting vehicles (5.0 thousand units) declined by 0.7%.
Special purpose vehicle leasing did not reach 2024 levels; the figure for the first eight months of the current year was 25.3% lower. Leasing of road construction vehicles was down by more than 50% compared to results shown two years ago, while lifting vehicle leasing fell by over 40%. However, compared to 2024, leasing of warehouse vehicles grew by 156.2%, while that of agricultural vehicles - by 35.7%.
