According to the marketing agency NAPI, 3.8 thousand new and used special purpose vehicles were issued for financial leasing in January-February 2026, which was a 24% rise on the previous year, when 3.1 thousand units were leased. However, the 2024 level (7.4 thousand units) is still far off; results of the first two months of the current year are 48.9% lower than the 2024 figure.

Leasing of road construction vehicles fell by 73.0% in January-February last year, but increased by 60% over the first two months of the current year. Despite the growth, leasing of these vehicles in 2026 (1.6 thousand units) remained half of the figure of 2024 (3.7 thousand units).

Warehouse vehicle leasing decreased by 43.5% in 2025, but increased by 74.6% in 2026, reaching the 2024 level of 0.2 thousand units. Agricultural vehicle leasing was down by 49.0% over the first two months of last year, but increased by 22.1% over the similar period of 2026. Agricultural vehicle leasing totaled 0.9 thousand units, falling short of January-February 2024 level (1.4 thousand units).

At the same time, the lifting vehicle leasing segment declined: by 38.0% in January-February 2025 and by 15.9% in January-February 2026 (0.9 thousand units).
