According to the marketing agency NAPI, the population of leased taxi cars numbered 126.6 thousand units with valid permits as of July 1, 2026.

Lada is the leading brand that dominates the population of leased taxi cars (17.1%). Second and third places are occupied by Chinese HAVAL (14.8%) and CHERY (13.1%) brands. New Russian cars such as MOSKVICH (3.2%) and TENET (3.1%) also entered TOP-3. Among traditional foreign brands, VOLKSWAGEN (3.5%) and KIA (3.2%) made TOP-10. TOP-10 brands account for 78.6% of the leased car population.

Lada Granta leads the model ranking (11.8%), while LADA VESTA rounds out the TOP-5 (5.1%). HAVAL JOLION (11.3%) is on the second place, followed by CHERY ARRIZO 8 (6.3%). BELGEE, with its X50 and X70 models, also took two places in TOP-10. Traditional foreign cars have already dropped out of the top list of models.
