According to the marketing agency NAPI, the composition of the Russian new electric car market has changed significantly over the year. Thus, over the first nine months of 2023, almost two-thirds of the market was occupied by electric cars manufactured in China. VOLKSWAGEN accounts for 28% of Chinese electric cars sold in Russia. Electric cars manufactured in Russia (regardless of the localization level) have won back a fifth of the market.
