The Republic of Tatarstan became the largest regional new truck market in 2020. According to Russian Automotive Market Research, in January-November 2020, new truck sales in the region amounted to 5.17 thousand units, which was a 39% rise on January-November 2019.

The most in-demand new truck in Tatarstan was KAMAZ 5490, sales of which for the reporting period more than doubled. TOP-3 also included two foreign models-SCANIA R and MERCEDES-BENZ ACTROS, the demand for which grew by 47% and 82%, respectively.

Following results of 11 months of 2020, 8.62 thousand trucks were sold in the used vehicle market of Tatarstan, which was a 0.7% growth year-on-year.

In 2020, residents of Tatarstan gave the greatest preference to used SCANIA R trucks, sales of which decreased by 14%. The second place was occupied by KAMAZ 65115, the demand for which decreased by 2%. The third position in the rating was taken by used MERCEDES-BENZ ACTROS, sales of which more than doubled.
