03.12.2025 / The share of used Chinese trucks is growing in all segments

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 166.8 thousand used trucks* were sold in January-October 2025, which was a 5.7% decline on the previous year, when 176.9 thousand trucks were sold. Sales of used Russian vehicles decreased by 7.1% year-on-year to 69.0 thousand units. Sales of used Chinese trucks, on the contrary, grew by 47.6% to 27.6 thousand units. Over the year, the share of used Russian vehicles decreased by 0.7 p.p. to 41.3%, while that of Chinese vehicles increased by 5.9 p.p. to 16.5%. The share of Russian trucks decreased the most in the construction vehicle segment (-7.3 p.p.), but increased in the tractor unit segment (+0.7 p.p.). At the same time, the share of Chinese trucks grew in all segments, with the most significant increase in the tractor unit segment (+10.8 p.p.).
