The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the change in the share of Chinese trucks in the new and used vehicle market by segment. In January-December 2025, the share of new Chinese vehicles decreased by 17.1 p.p. to 45.5%, while that of used ones grew by 5.7 p.p. and reached 16.6%.
In the new truck sales composition, the share of Chinese vehicles fell in all segments. The sharpest decline was shown by dumper (-22.5 p.p.), tractor unit (-13.2 p.p.), and construction vehicle (-14.6 p.p.) segments. Despite the decline, in 2025, Chinese vehicles accounted for more than half of new truck sales in tractor unit (62.5%), construction vehicle (58.5%), dumper (54.7%), and van (50.8%) segments.
The share of Chinese trucks in used vehicle sales increased in all segments. It grew by 10.4 p.p. in the tractor unit segment, by 8.7 p.p. - in the construction vehicle segment, and by 4.8 p.p. - in the dumper segment. Last year, the share of Chinese trucks was highest in the used construction vehicle (24.0%) and dumper (32.2%) segments.
