31.08.2022 / The share of premium cars in the used car market is decreasing

According to the NAPI (National Industrial Information Agency), the share of premium brands in the used car market has decreased. From January to April 2022, the share of premium cars fluctuated at the level of 10.1-10.7%, from May to July, sales of premium cars fell short of 10%. If the entire used car market in 2022 is considered, the most disastrous month was May, when 326 thousand used cars were sold, which is slightly less than the result of January 2022. In June-July, used car sales began to recover. In July, the largest number of used cars (448.6 thousand units) were sold since the beginning of the year.
