The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the change in the share of Russian and Chinese trucks* in the new and used vehicle market in January-July 2026.
Chinese trucks:
- Over the year, the share of new Chinese vehicles decreased by 8.6 p.p. to 37.1%. The decline took place in all major segments, most noticeably in segments of tractor units (-15.7 p.p. to 49.6%), dumpers (-8.3 p.p. to 44.6%), and lifting vehicles (-6 p.p. to 37.9%). Sales in these segments fell by more than 30%.
- In the used vehicle market, the share of Chinese trucks increased by 6.2 p.p. and reached 21.3%. The largest growth took place in segments of dumpers (+10.4 p.p. to 41.6%) and construction vehicles (+9.4 p.p. to 31.0%).
Russian trucks:
- In January-July 2026, the share of new Russian trucks increased by 9.5 p.p. on the last year and reached 52.3%, with positive dynamics in all segments. The largest increase took place in the segment of tractor units (+20.1 p.p. to 43.8%).
- The share of Russian vehicles in used truck sales fell by 5 p.p. to 37.2%. The share in segments of dumpers (-8.2 p.p. to 43.7%) and construction vehicles (-8.2 p.p. to 52.4%) decreased more sharply than in other segments.
