27.10.2025 / The corporate electric car market has fallen, while the hybrid market is more stable

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 5.54 thousand new corporate PHEVs were sold in January-September 2025, which was a 3.3% decline on the similar period of 2024. VOYAH accounted for the largest share of sales this year (31.1%). Meanwhile, LIXIANG, which held the lead last year, saw its share decline by 30.5 p.p. to 17.3%. WEY and TANK showed sales growth: their shares increased to 16.2% and 10.5%, respectively.

Sales of new corporate electric cars fell more sharply than those of hybrids in January-September 2025. A total of 2.12 thousand electric cars were sold, which was a 40.8% decline on 2024. MOSKVICH accounted for more than a third of sales - 35.9%. Over the year, sales and share of AVATR (to 0.30 thousand units and 14.1%) and ORA (to 0.12 thousand units and 5.6%) increased. Shares of EVOLUTE and ZEEKR decreased, reaching 12.4% and 12.1%, respectively.

It should be noted that TOP-5 hybrid and electric car brands account for more than 80% of sales.
