According to the marketing agency NAPI, 559.3 thousand new and 217.2 thousand used Chinese cars were sold in January-October 2025. Compared to the similar period of 2024, sales of new Chinese cars decreased by 27.6%, while those of used ones grew by 39.3%.
Over the first ten months of the current year, the share of new cars in total Chinese car sales fell by 11.2 p.p. to 72%, while that of used ones grew from 16.8% to 28%. The share of new car sales of all brands presented in the chart decreased. EXEED (-23.4 p.p.), TANK (-17.5 p.p.), and GEELY (-16 p.p.) saw the sharpest decline in the share of new car sales. The share of new GAC cars changed the least (-5.7 p.p.).
