According to the marketing agency NAPI, 13.1 thousand buses were sold in January-July 2026, which was a 15.2% decline on the previous year. Used bus sales fell by 23.4% to 8.0 thousand units, while new bus sales grew by 1.9% and reached 5.1 thousand units.
Over the year, sales of new buses 6-8 m (-32.8%), 10-12 m (-18.9%), and 8-10 m (-3.1%) long decreased. Sales of buses longer than 12 m (+65.4%) prevented this segment from going into the red. Along with the decline in sales, the share of new buses 6-8 m (-9.1 p.p.), 10-12 m (-4 p.p.), and 8-10 m (-1.5 p.p.) long also fell.
In the used bus segment, sales of 6-8 m long buses fell below market levels (-31.1%), resulting in their share decreasing by 4.3 p.p.
