According to the marketing agency NAPI, sales of used cars decreased by 0.9% over the first ten months of 2025. In January-October of the current year, 4.88 million used cars were sold against 4.93 million units sold in the similar period of 2024.
Segments of cars aged 16-20 and 7-10 years decreased the most: their sales fell by 7.3% and 6.7%, respectively. At the same time, sales of cars aged 11-15 (+2.4%) and over 20 years (+8.5%) grew.
It should be noted that in January-October 2025, sales of cars aged over 20 years are only slightly inferior to those of new cars. Thus, over the first 10 months of the current year, 0.93 million cars aged over 20 years were sold, and the number of new cars sold was more by only 0.12 million units, while over the similar period last year, the difference was 0.43 million units.
