23.01.2026 / Only buses longer than 12 m were consistently sold in 2025

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 30.3 thousand new and used buses were sold in January-December 2025, which was a 22.4% decline on the previous year, when 39 thousand buses were sold. Of them, 12.7 thousand units were new (-34.1% on 2024), and 17.6 thousand units were used (-10.9%).

Sales of new buses length of 10-12 m (-60.4%), 6-8 m (-35%), and 8-10 m (-22.6%) sharply declined over the year. Sales of used buses length of 6-8 m (-5.9%), 8-10 m (-14%), and 10-12 m (-32.2%) also fell. Sales of new buses over 12 meters long remained virtually unchanged, while those of used ones more than doubled.

Over the year, the share of new buses length of 6-8 meters (-0.3 p.p.) and 10-12 meters (-12.8 p.p.) decreased, while that of buses length of 8-10 meters (+4.5 p.p.) and over 12 meters (+8.6 p.p.) grew. Among used vehicles, the share of buses length of 6-8 meters (+2.2 p.p.) and over 12 meters (+6.6 p.p.) increased, while that of buses length of 8-10 meters (-0.7 p.p.) and 10-12 meters (-8.1 p.p.) fell.
