02.10.2025 / Leasing of special purpose vehicles decreased by more than 40%

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 21,4 new and used special purpose vehicles were issued for financial leasing in January-August 2025, which was a 42.2% decline on the previous year, when 37 thousand units were leased. The average leasing contract term decreased by two months over the year, reaching 37 months in January-August of the current year.

Road construction vehicle leasing fell by 61.1%, resulting in a year-on-year decline in this segment's share from 50.8% to 34.2%. Leasing of warehouse vehicles also declined by 44.8%, while that of lifting ones fell by 42.1%. Agricultural vehicle leasing, on the contrary, grew by 11.2%, resulting in a 16.4 p.p. increase in this segment's share, reaching 34.1%.
