28.10.2025 / Leasing of new cars decreased by 40%, while that of used ones grew by 8%

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 83.1 thousand new cars were leased* by corporate clients in January-September 2025, which was a 39.8% decline on the similar period of 2024. A total of 23.8 thousand used cars were also leased, which was a 7.9% rise year-on-year.

Despite LADA (26%) and CHERY (10.1%) accounting for the largest sales share of new cars leased to corporate clients, the volume of leasing of these brands decreased by 26.5% and 39.9%, respectively, over the year. HAVAL and GEELY lease sales fell by more than 60%. Only BELGEE (+5.6%) showed positive growth dynamics. It should be noted that TOP-5 brands account for 59.5% of new car lease sales in 2025.

As for used cars, KIA corporate leasing increased by 0.8%, LADA - by 33.9%, and Geely - by 223.7% over the year. Mercedes-Benz (-23.8%) and BMW (-25.2%) saw a decline in lease sales. TOP-5 brands account for more than a third of used car lease sales.
