02.06.2026 / LCV market financial capacity: corporate and private clients

The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the new LCV* market financial capacity in January-April 2026.

Since the beginning of the year, corporate clients have purchased LCV worth 63.2 billion rubles, which was a 16.1% decline on the similar period of 2025. Private clients purchased LCV worth 25.1 billion rubles, having shown a 10.6% decline year-on-year.

Financial capacity of TOP-10 brands among corporate clients amounted to 55.9 billion rubles (-15.9% on 2025). The most significant decline in financial capacity was shown by VIS (-46.1%), JAC (-44.9%), and LADA (-36.5%) brands. DODGE (+76.2%) and CHANGAN (+44.1%) showed growth due to increased vehicle sales.

Financial capacity of TOP-10 brands among private clients amounted to 19.7 billion rubles (-15.1%). Nine of TOP-10 brands saw financial capacity decline by more than 20%. The sharpest decline was shown by VIS (-65.6%), FOTON (-49.7%), and LADA (-57.5%) brands. The only vehicle showing financial capacity growth was DODGE (+91.2%).

GAZ became the leader by financial capacity with 30.4 billion rubles in the corporate client segment and 4.5 billion rubles in the private client segment. However, compared to 2025, its financial capacity fell by 9.8% and 26.3%, respectively.
