According to the marketing agency NAPI, 15.8 thousand new trucks* were issued for financial leasing to corporate clients in January-August 2025, which was a 70.2% decline on the similar period of 2024, when 52.9 thousand new trucks were leased. The share of leasing in new truck sales decreased from 67.1% to 43.8% over the year.

Over the first eight months of the current year, 9.5 thousand tractor units were sold, 50.2% of which were leased. Last year, tractor unit sales totaled 36.6 thousand units, with leasing accounting for 74.4%. Van sales decreased by 2.9 thousand units over the year, while the share of leasing fell from 43% to 28.1%. Dumper sales also decreased from 14.6 to 5.6 thousand units. Dumper leasing fell more sharply than that of other vehicle types, by 25.5 p.p. to 50.3%. The share of tanker leasing decreased the least, by 9 p.p.
