19.05.2025 / In which segments have Chinese buses increased their share?

According to the marketing agency NAPI, sales of new buses over 12 m long did not fall as much as the market over the first four months of 2025, due to which their share increased to 21.6%. Moreover, due to a smaller decline in sales, the share of buses 8-10 m long grew to 31.5%. The 10-12 m bus segment suffered the most, its share decreased by 6.4 percentage points. Chinese brands are most active in the 8-10 m, 10-12 m, and over 12 m bus segments. Due to the fact that the decline in Chinese bus sales was not as strong, they increased their share in all these segments.
