According to the marketing agency NAPI, 1.03 thousand new buses were sold in January-February 2026, which was a 16% decline on the previous year. 2.3 thousand used buses were also sold, having shown a 33% decline on 2025.
New bus sales grew in all regions included in TOP-5 in 2026. Moscow topped the list, with 0.14 thousand buses sold over the two months, accounting for 13.2%. TOP-5 regions accounted for more than a third of new bus sales (0.36 thousand units): their share grew by 18.4 p.p. year-on-year.
The Moscow region became the leader by used bus sales , with 530 units sold, accounting for 23%. Over the year, sales decreased in Krasnodar (-18% to 0.13 thousand units) and Nizhny Novgorod (-79% to 0.08 thousand units) regions. TOP-5 account for 45.8% (1.06 thousand units) of used bus sales, with a share increasing by 26.1 p.p.
