According to the marketing agency NAPI, 30.5 thousand new plug-in hybrid cars were sold in January-October 2025, which was a 6.7% decline on the similar period of 2024. Sales of hybrid cars to private buyers decreased by 9.6% to 23.5 thousand units, while those to non-leasing corporate buyers fell by 15.5% to 2.6 thousand units. Meanwhile, leasing sales grew by 21.5% to 4.4 thousand units. The share of hybrid cars leased was up by 3.3 p.p. year-on-year.

Moreover, 9.6 thousand new electric cars were sold in January-October 2025, which was a 34.2% decline on 2024. Sales of electric cars to corporate buyers not using leasing fell by 40.4% to 1.3 thousand units, while deliveries of cars on lease - by 41.8% to 1 thousand units. Electric car sales to private buyers declined slightly less, by 31.7%, while their share grew by 2.8 p.p.
