The marketing agency NAPI has updated its "Truck residual value" report for Q II 2026. The chart shows average prices for new FAW J6 dumpers (manufactured in 2016–2025) and residual value of used vehicles in Q II of the current year.
Specifically, in Q II 2026, FAW J6 dumpers manufactured in 2016–2019 lost over 40% of their value relative to their initial average price. Vehicles of 2020–2021 years of manufacture lost more than 30% of their value. Depreciation of FAW J6 dumpers manufactured in 2022 made 42.0%; this was partially driven by a sharp rise in new vehicle prices in 2022 caused by withdrawal of foreign brands. Dumpers manufactured in 2023 lost 28.9% of their value, while those manufactured in 2024 and 2025 - 22.3% and 12.8%, respectively.
