According to the marketing agency NAPI, 24.7 thousand new trailers and semi-trailers were sold in January-December 2025, which was a 53.2% decline on the previous year. New trailer sales decreased by 1.4% to 5 thousand units, while semi-trailer sales - by 58.8% to 19.7 thousand units.
Sales of used trailers and semi-trailers totaled 72.2 thousand units, which was a 7% decline on 2024. Used trailer sales fell by 17.2% to 10.9 thousand units, while semi-trailer sales - by 5% to 61.3 thousand units.
Following results of 2025, semi-trailers accounted for 79.7% of new trailer sales and 84.9% of used trailer sales. Trailers accounted for 20.3% of new vehicle sales and 15.1% of sales of used ones. Over the year, the share of trailers in new trailer sales grew by 10.6 p.p. In used vehicle sales, the share of trailers decreased by 1.8 p.p.
Among TOP-10 regions, the largest share of trailers in new trailer sales belonged to the Rostov-on-Don region, while in used trailer sales – to the Ryazan region. Moscow had the largest share of new and used semi-trailers.
