According to the marketing agency NAPI, 1.7 thousand new and used buses were sold in January 2026, which was a 26.5% decline on the previous year, when 2.4 thousand buses were sold. Of these, 0.6 thousand units were new (-11.1% on January 2024), and 1.2 thousand units were used (-32.0%).
Sales of new buses 6-8 meters (-51.8%), 8-10 meters (-30.2%), and 10-12 meters (-11.8%) long declined year-over-year. Sales of used buses over 12 meters (-47.7%), 8-10 meters (-45.2%), 6-8 meters (-33.0%), and 10-12 meters (-9.7%) long also decreased. Meanwhile, sales of new buses over 12 meters long grew by 58.5%.
The share of new buses 6-8 meters (-12.3 p.p.), 8-10 meters (-6.2 p.p.), and 10-12 meters (-0.1 p.p.) long decreased, while that of buses over 12 meters long grew (+18.7 p.p.). Among used vehicles, the share of buses 8-10 m (-4.3 p.p.), over 12 m (-3.4 p.p.), 6-8 m (-0.5 p.p.) long decreased, while that of buses 10-12 m long increased (+8.2 p.p.).
