11.08.2026 / Even less than in 2025: businesses reduced their new car purchases

The marketing agency NAPI analyzed new car sales in July 2026.

The corporate segment is dragging down the car market. Corporate buyers purchased 14.7 thousand new cars over the month. This is 16.6% less than in July last year and a 42.6% decline on 2024. At the same time, car sales to private buyers increased slightly year-on-year. In July, 105.4 thousand new cars were sold to private buyers, which was a 4.0% rise.

The main growth in new car sales in percentage terms took place in smaller regions, so increase in units was not so significant. Positive dynamics were recorded in 60 regions among private buyers. In the corporate segment, despite the overall decline, sales grew in 33 regions.
