27.03.2026 / Equipment leasing has doubled

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 21.4 thousand units of equipment were issued for financial leasing in January-February 2026, which was a 75.8% rise on the previous year, when 12.2 thousand units were leased. However, the 2024 figures (23.1 thousand units) were not reached, with the first two months of the current year down by 7.3%.

Following results of the first two months of 2026, the most positive leasing dynamics was shown by the food industry equipment segments, including refrigeration and restaurant equipment (984.5%), telecommunications equipment, office equipment and computers (369.8%), as well as medical and pharmaceutical equipment (173.7%). Leasing of agricultural (73.8%), lifting (58.6%), and industrial equipment (14.0%) showed slightly smaller growth.

It should be noted that leasing of three segments—telecommunications equipment, office equipment, computers, and power engineering equipment, as well as medical and pharmaceutical equipment—showed growth in January-February 2025.

However, leasing of metalworking (-40.8%) and power engineering equipment (-36.8%), oil and gas production and processing equipment (-27.9%), and pumping equipment (-17.3%) decreased this year.
