According to the marketing agency NAPI, 39,2 used tractor units were sold in January-August 2025, which was a 8.6% decline on the similar period of 2024. Meanwhile, new tractor unit sales fell more sharply: from 33,9 units to 9,9 units (-70.8%).
Volvo and KAMAZ remain the best-selling used tractor unit brands, with 6 thousand units each sold over the first eight months of the current year. Against a backdrop of overall sales decline, SITRAK (+223.7%) and SHACMAN (+88.0%) are showing positive dynamics. It can be assumed that this explosive sales growth is due to the early return or repossession of leased vehicles, which subsequently entered the used vehicle market.
It is interesting to note that leading brands account for 86.7% of total sales.
