The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the dynamics of truck*, trailer, LCV**, and bus leasing in January-May 2024-2026.
In January-May 2025, truck leasing decreased by 50.7% on the similar period of 2024. In 2026, this figure grew by 6.3% and reached 21.6 thousand units (9.6 thousand new and 12.0 thousand used). However, it remains almost 48% lower than that in 2024.
Trailer leasing decreased by 54.4% in January-May 2025, but increased by 1.9% over the first five months of 2026. A total of 8.8 thousand trailers were leased this year (3.8 thousand new and 5.0 thousand used). Compared to January-May 2024, trailer leasing fell by 53.6%.
In January-May 2025, LCV leasing was 25.8% lower than that in 2024. In 2026, leasing decreased by another 5.0% to 17.1 thousand units (13.6 thousand new and 3.6 thousand used). The results of the first five months of the current year were 29.5% lower than those in the similar period of 2024.
In January-February 2025, bus leasing grew by 0.8%, but fell by 20.8% in 2026. Over the first five months of 2026, 1.9 thousand buses were leased (1.5 thousand new and 0.4 thousand used), which was a 20.2% decline on 2024.
