21.01.2025 / Chinese trucks are losing their share in the dumper market

According to the marketing agency NAPI, in January-December 2024, the share of Chinese vehicles in the new truck market was 62.1%. A year earlier, Chinese trucks accounted for 60.9% of the market. In the dumper segment, the share of Chinese vehicles decreased by 2.3 percentage points. The share of Chinese manufacturers increased the most in such segments as vans (+22.8 percentage points), dropside vehicles or curtainsiders (+17.0 percentage points), lifting vehicles (+15.7 percentage points), and construction vehicles (+14.9 percentage points). The share of Russian brands decreased from 29.6% to 27.7% over the year.
