02.03.2026 / Chinese cars ranked second by their number in the fleet

According to the marketing agency NAPI, the car fleet numbers 2.4 million units as of January 1, 2026.

Russian brands dominate the fleet (931 thousand units), accounting for 39.3% of the fleet. The growth in the number of Chinese cars in the fleet is noteworthy. Although corporate clients only began actively purchasing Chinese cars in 2023, within three years they had risen to second place in the fleet (403 thousand units). The share of Chinese cars reached 17%.

The share of Japanese and German cars in the fleet was 11.4% (270 thousand units) and 10% (237 thousand units), respectively. Korean cars accounted for a slightly smaller share, 8% (190 thousand units). The fleet also included 111 thousand cars of American brands (4.7% of the fleet), 102 thousand units of French (4.3%) and 61 thousand units of Czech (2.6%) brands.
