According to the marketing agency NAPI, the truck* population includes almost 4.1 million vehicles as of July 1, 2025. Most of the trucks (62%) are manufactured in Russia. Belarusian trucks account for 8%, Chinese ones - 7.2%. Thus, Chinese brands have overtaken Swedish and German trucks, which were previously popular on the Russian market.
The most in-demand vehicle type among Chinese trucks is the dumper. It accounts for 42.6% of the entire population. The tractor unit became the second most popular vehicle type: its share slightly exceeds 32%. It is interesting to note that TOP-3 most popular truck types form 83.1% of the Chinese truck population.
