According to the marketing agency NAPI, 36.1 thousand new corporate cars were sold in January-March 2026, which was a 10.8% decline on the previous year. Also, 28.4 thousand used cars have been sold since the beginning of the year, having shown a 6.2% rise on 2025. Overall corporate car sales decreased by 4.0% in January-March of the current year.
In the new car segment, 15.6 thousand Chinese cars (43.2% of all sales) and 15.1 thousand Russian cars (41.7%) were sold. More than 60% of cars sold, both those of Chinese and Russian brands, were manufactured in 2025. Cars manufactured in 2026 accounted for 13.7% of Chinese car sales and 29.9% of Russian car sales.
In the used car segment, cars manufactured in 2022-2025 account for almost half of the market, 45.6%. “Fresh" used cars accounted for 98.2% of Chinese car sales. Their share was 48.7% in Russian car sales.
Used cars manufactured in 2023 (18.7% of all sales) and 2024 (14.1%) were leaders by sales in January-March 2026. Cars manufactured in 2023 and 2024 also lead in car sales of Chinese (52.9% and 29.5%) and Russian (16.1% and 19.4%) brands.
