According to Russian Automotive Market Research, as of July 1, 2019 there are 44.2 million cars in the Russian vehicle population .

Cars of the Korean brands account for 11.8% in the vehicle population. In quantitative terms, this is 5.2 million cars.

Young cars have a large share in Korean vehicle population: cars under 5 years old account for 36.0%, 6-10 years old-35.2%. As for the oldest cars that are more than 20 years old, they account for only 2.0% of the Korean vehicle population.
