According to the marketing agency NAPI, 165.4 thousand new and used cars were leased* in January-December 2025, which was a 26.4% decline on the previous year, when 224.9 thousand cars were leased.
Of the total number of cars leased, 129.1 thousand were new (-33.6% on 2024), and 36.3 thousand were used (+18.8%). Over the year, leasing's share in new car sales decreased from 12.7% to 9.9%, while that in used car sales grew from 0.5% to 0.6%.
Leasing of TOP-10 car brands fell by 30.6%, which is more than the overall market. As a result, the TOP-10 brands' share fell short of two-thirds of the car leasing market. Only BELGEE and SOLARIS brands showed sales growth. LADA, BELGEE, and HAVAL brands accounted for the largest share of total car leasing in 2025.
