20.01.2026 / A 25% decline: how LCV leasing survived 2025

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 52.1 thousand new and used LCV* were leased in January-December 2025, which was a 25% decline on the previous year, when 69.5 thousand units were leased.

Of the total number of LCV leased, 44.5 thousand were new (-29.2% on 2024), and 7.6 thousand were used (+14.2%). In 2025, the share of leasing in new LCV sales decreased from 45.5% to 41.9%, while that in used LCV sales grew from 1.6% to 1.9%.

The share of new vehicles leased declined most significantly in the reefer segment (-15.2 p.p.). The share of new LCV declined the least in the bus segment (-2.7 p.p.). The share of used vehicles in some segments reached a third of the total volume of LCV leased.
