10.12.2025 / Which federal districts are most active in purchasing new trucks?

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 239.3 thousand new and used trucks* were sold in January-November 2025, which was a 22.6% decline on the previous year, when 309 thousand trucks were sold. Used truck sales fell by 4.5%, while those of new ones - by 53.3%.

The largest number of trucks were sold in the Central Federal District (61.5 thousand units), the Volga Federal District (42.8 thousand units), and the Southern Federal District (36.8 thousand units).

Over the year, the share of new trucks in total sales decreased from 37.1% to 22.4% (-14.7 p.p.). The largest new truck sales were shown by the Urals Federal District (28.4%) and the Central Federal District (27.4%), while the lowest ones -  by the North Caucasus Federal District (8.3%). Moreover, the new truck share declined the most over the year in the Far Eastern Federal District, from 41.5% to 22.1% (-19.4 p.p.).
