24.07.2023 / Vehicle production: first year-half results

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 289.1 thousand cars, commercial vehicles, and buses were produced in the first half of 2023. Compared with the results of the first half of the pre-crisis 2021, when 830.6 thousand vehicles of all types were produced, production in the Russian Federation collapsed by 65.2%.

Compared with the first half of 2022, the production of light commercial vehicles and buses increased by 16.7% and 34.6%, respectively. The production of cars fell by 28.3%, the production of trucks - by 4.3%. If the results of June of the current year are compared with those of the similar period of the last year, the production of all vehicle types has increased.
