The agency Russian Automotive Market Research analyzed the vehicle financial leasing market for nine months of 2021.

In January-September 2021*, 236.5 thousand vehicles were issued for financial leasing, which was a 36.2% rise on the similar period of 2020.**

Of these, a significant number – 94.4 thousand vehicles - were issued by independent leasing companies, which was a  42.1% increase on January-September 2020. State-owned banks are on the second place by the number of issued vehicles – 68.5 thousand units (+18.5% year-on-year). The third place belongs to the non-state banks – 38.9 thousand vehicles (+68.7% year-on-year).
