07.11.2025 / Vehicle leasing decreased by almost 40%

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 197.9 thousand new and used vehicles were leased * in January-September 2025, which was a 38.6% decline on the previous year (322.4 thousand units were leased).

Trailer and semi-trailer leasing fell by 54.9% over the year, resulting in a 2.8 p.p. decline in this segment's share to 7.7%. Truck leasing also declined by 51.6%, with its share falling by 5.1 p.p. to 18.8%. Car leasing was down by 33.3%, leasing of LCV** - by 24.6%, and that of buses - by 29.1%. However, shares of these segments grew to 54%, 17.4%, and 2%, respectively.

The average lease term decreased by six months over the year, reaching 35 months in January-September of the current year.
