22.12.2025 / Used vehicles account for almost 80% of LCV sales

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 455.4 thousand new and used LCV* were sold in January-November 2025, which was a 9.1% decline on the previous year, when 501 thousand units were sold. Sales of used vehicles fell by 4.3%, while those of new ones - by 23.8%.

Among new vehicles, the sharpest sales decline over the year was shown by reefers (-37.8%), dropside vehicles/curtainsiders (-33.9%), and buses (-29.1%). Among used LCV, ambulance sales declined the most (-15.2%). Sales of new vans (-1.8%) and pickups (+1.9%) were slightly more stable.

It should be noted that the share of used vehicles in LCV sales in January-November 2025 grew by 4 p.p. on the similar period last year and reached 79.2%. The largest share in used vehicle sales belonged to minivans (97.9%). The share of new vehicles increased only in ambulance sales by 0.2 p.p.
