According to the marketing agency NAPI, the truck population* numbers 3.7 million vehicles as of January 1, 2026.

The largest segments of the truck population are dumpers (886.9 thousand units) and tractor units (839 thousand units), accounting for 24.1% and 22.8% of the total population, respectively. Dropside vehicles or curtainsiders account for 13.7% of the population, or 506.1 thousand units, while vans - for 13%, or 477 thousand units. Tankers (189.9 thousand units) and lifting vehicles (188.6 thousand units) account for 5% of the population each.

It should be noted that TOP-10 largest truck types account for 88.5% of the population.
