27.08.2020 / Trailer production declined for the third month in a row

According to Russian Automotive Market Research, in January-June 2020, the production of trailers and semi-trailers amounted to 18.0 thousand units*, which was a 0.5% decline on the same period of 2019. In June, the trailer production fell by 5.4%. It should be noted that before the introduction of quarantine measures, production of trailers and semi-trailers showed growth.

Over the first six months of 2020 the positive production dynamics was kept by trailers of O3 category (with the maximum technically permissible weight exceeding 3.5 tons but not exceeding 10 tons), tractor trailers and tank semi-trailers and trailers for transportation of petroleum products, water and other liquids.
