29.04.2020 / The number of leased commercial vehicles is falling. Trucks

According to Russian Automotive Market Research, in January-March 2020, 5.7 thousand financial leasing^[1] contracts for trucks were signed, which was a 20% decrease on the same period of 2019^[2].

In the first quarter of 2020, 7.2 thousand trucks were transferred to financial leasing, which was a 34% decline year-on-year.

In January-March 2020, slightly more than 28% of leased trucks were KAMAZ vehicles. In January-March 2019, the share of KAMAZ vehicles in financial leasing was 47%.

VOLVO vehicles accounted for another 23% of leased trucks in 2020 (21% in 2019).
