According to Russian Automotive Market Research, in August 2021, 4.5 thousand special purpose vehicles were manufactured in Russia, which was a 26% rise on August 2020. Following results of January-August 2021, the special purpose vehicle production amounted to 29.2 thousand units (+28% year-on-year).
Over eight months of 2021, the production of all types of TOP-5 special purpose vehicles increased. The largest growth was shown by vehicles with crane-manipulator units (+51%).
