According to Russian Automotive Market Research, as of July 1, 2019 there were 4.38 million light commercial vehicles* in Russia. Vans, dropside trucks/curtainsiders, buses, minivans, pickups, reefers and ambulances are the most common vehicles in the LCV population. These body types accounted for 97.8% of the LCV population.
In 2019 the new LCV sales structure was similar: 98.9% of the market were occupied by the above-mentioned LCV types. A total of 118.7 thousand new light commercial vehicles were sold in the Russian market over the past year.
The population of LCV and other vehicle types is being updated as of January 1, 2020.
